I got a bit behind with the V episodes, partly because channel 9 decided to have a week break and then put them on an hour later, and partly because I was writing essays and being in Queensland.
Something happens!! )

Heh.

[livejournal.com profile] astrocave went away out of mobile range for Easter, so this ended up with me texting him, and him e-mailing me back several days later when he finally got the texts. So here goes:
astrocave wants rayguns, I want something to happen. )

This week's episode opened with Erica kneeling over Warehouse Guy, who'd been shot. Erica turns, and Ryan has a gun pulled on her. A subtitle: 14 hours earlier.

[livejournal.com profile] astrocave: Ah, a flash forward. It's their way of saying "Just wait, something will happen"

Sunday evening is rapidly becoming "disaster night" on channel 9. Which is great for me, as I love disaster-themed series and telemovies and other such things.

First off, episode three of V. With additional commentary via text message by myself and [livejournal.com profile] astrocave (again).
astrocave is obsessed with alien camera technology, I'm obsessed with secrecy )

The new series of V started last week. This reminded me of two things - why I seem to have given up watching commercial television at all (the number of ads is ridiculous), and how much I liked the original cheesy 80s series.
Text message exchanges during the episode. Entirely recorded for my own amusement )
