Sep. 16th, 2004 11:39 amSo I ended up crossing the picket lines and coming in. The problem is basically that 2 days notice for a strike is a little too few for me - I'd already booked equipment, I'm helping a student from the Burnet through a new procedure that we've been setting up for since Monday and had organised since last week, I've got various experiments running, a third year student and I'm screening 400+ plants again because reducing them means the bloody Ab can't recognise them. Stupid di-sulphide bonds.
I think I'll just say that I was on strike and lose the day's pay or something in solidarity.
Bah humbug.
