I've never used Babelfish for translating before. But this morning, following a link from
jamaisneutral and finding myself stuck on one word I decided to try it.
And that was the funniest translation I have ever read of anything, including the Portuguese-English dictionary and the Spanish to English translation of Carmen ("Oh for the balls of a toreador!").
Still, the one word I was stuck on came through OK, so I got the gist of it a bit better. But it's nice to know that my rapidly fading Dutch is still better than automated translation.
Now to go and practice reading/writing in it a bit more. :-)
