hnpccSo I turn on the telly and find out about the earthquake and tsuamis.
Unbelievable. Seriously unbelievable.
One of the women from my lab is holidaying in either Malaysia or Sri Lanka during the break... can't remember where she is exactly right now. Hopefully Australia, having not left yet.
Really hopefully not Sri Lanka.
Both of us are stunned - BBC world news is playing on SBS at the moment, which is how we found out. My family was over BBQing so none of us watched the news.
And now of course I'm trying to find out more online, mostly from BBC because it's past midnight and I can't remember my login details for the other news sites. *sigh*
