So these are photos of Merri creek in flood and the debris afterwards from last month.

Coburg lake at the height of the flood.

The creek near Bell St at the height of the flood.

From the bridge the night after the floods. The night before the path along the side was underwater.

The creek from the bridge the night after again.

And looking towards Preston/Thornbury.

Walking along the bike path two days after. You can see where the water pushed the grass flat.

And looking at the debris caught in the trees - you could (not sure if it came out that well) see how high the waters went on the opposite bank.

The market gardens near the bridge - they were still under water the first two nights we went past.

How high the debris got, using myself as a handy about 1.5m high marker. The creek is behind me to the left, about 2 metres down.

You do realise that these are the first pictures of you I've ever seen.

I love the way the water is so completely ignoring the sign saying "slow".

Yes -- I thought that as a netball player you'd be a lot taller.

On the other hand, I did like the pictures in the wedding series in the other post which ranked you according to your heights. Reminded me of a certain Brit comedy sketch from waaaay back....
