3rd time lucky

I've now started this and given up twice.

3rd time lucky I guess.

The problem is I have nothing non-depressing to say. (Well, depressing for me at any rate, probably just boring for anyone else).

Still, got to start somewhere.

civilisation

I've just spent longer than I meant to (as always) playing Civilisation (call to Power to be precise). I've had this game for ages, and I'm still quite hopeless at it. I'm fine at the build cities (like doing that), explore map (*really* like doing that) and researching things, it's the diplomacy that I fail at. Basically I ignore everyone else on the map and they all start hating me and then declare war. Inevitably. I also never finish a game - I quite like playing up to the bit where I've explored the map and everyone's building these you beaut super weapons but then I get sick of it and start a new game with a new map to explore. The whole purpose of the game (as far as I'm concerned) is to build cities and explore the map. I think I have actually finished a game once - and that was by obliterating the other two civilisations. I still find it amusing in a sick kind of way that one way to win is by committing genocide. Civilisation? As we know it.
