planting and cloning
Jul. 16th, 2002 03:00 pmWhich sums up all I've been doing. I've never done stuff with plants before, it's quite fun. Not sure if they'll survive it though...
Other than that my PCR worked, and I appear to have managed to have cloned it successfully. Now to sequence. Neurons that I haven't used for 2 years have been frantically attempting to fire in order for me to do this. Some are firing OK, others are having trouble and need prompting. Some are dead (I think) as I am having occasional "what? I don't remember any of this" moments. I am mostly finding my way around the lab OK now, although there are still things I haven't used yet which I will be asking about for months to come. And my multitasking sucks bigtime - I'm not accurately remembering how long things will take and what I need to do it with and ending up taking forever.
Still, I'm happy. :-)
