(no subject)

27 plates!

Yay!!

One of my lettuce transformations is back to 27 plates (from 40). For the first time in about 5 weeks I made 1L of media and not only didn't run out, but had stuff left over. *smile*

I'm still taking up half the grow room (4 full shelves) with my 7 and two bits transformations though. I think everyone's hoping I'll be out before the new students arrive some time in Feb.

Hell, I'm hoping I'll be out before they arrive! :-)

Now to get transformation #2 down to a reasonable number again...

can you believe I started these two on the 18th Sept! :-)

I'm also getting more shoots forming roots, which is good. Soon I'll be whinging about Westerns and Southerns, just you wait... :-)

Mind you, every time I go to check my plates I get reminded of the wombat joke and start giggling. All is not lost. ;-)

Sexpo

Dean and I went to Sexpo on the weekend. It was quite odd, not least because it was combined with the X-treme toys exhibition. So mostly there was a lot of sex shop stuff (what is it with neon plastic and sex toys? I always wonder) but there were also exhibits on kayaking, sky diving and blue-water fishing.

I'm still not sure which category the spas fitted into though.
