Feeling much better today, thank God, although still not well enough to attempt dairy and/or coffee.

Got to work and discovered:

(a) I now have to fit everything I'd planned to do Thurs/Fri and all this week (and this was not a small amount of stuff, either) into three days because everything's shutting down before the shutdown and

(b) Thanks to working in three different places at least two people didn't realise that I wasn't there on Thurs/Fri! Despite it being our lab's Christmas/end-of-year function on Friday! :-)

Good to know I could probably bugger off for a couple of days and no one would notice... ;-)
