(no subject)

This time last year I was setting myself on fire.

And doing my first PCR for the year. And trying to assimilate the large amount of information I was attempting to braindump.

One year on, I've got 113 lettuce plants growing, quite a large number (as in, I haven't counted) of tobacco plants growing and Westerns going every day - some of which are even coming back with high expression levels. Happy plants.

Not sure how the information dump went though.. :-) I think I might need to re-do some of it at some stage.

Every so often I need to remind myself of how happy I actually am (despite the constant moaning about the Hons student) to be doing this job. :-)

Although given that opposition to birth control is equally prevalent among strongly religous muslisms as it is christians I thought that at least one of the options was a bit daft. :-)
