It's too early in the morning

Katzy's just come in and announced that "We're out of blood".

"Well whaddya want me to do about it? Bleed?"

I've realised why I don't take holidays that often.

Too much bloody work.

Worse when you're trying to get plants down to a manageable number so that the person looking after them while you're away isn't swamped[1].

And my lab book's still stuck on the 6th August... argh.

And when I get back I'm giving the lab meeting that week... so I'll have 3 days to get my head back into where it was a fortnight ago and up to speed again.

On the other hand, I'm off to Flinders Ranges for two weeks. :-) And I can sleep in.
