OK, you'd think by now that I'd automatically put some gloves on when diving into the -70oC to look for boxes.
But no, didn't bother because "the boxes are near the top".
Well they were near the top two weeks ago. Now, as a result of the layering process common to all fridges and freezers, they're not only at the bottom, they're sideways on the bottom.
So the fingers on my right hand feel frozen. Ow.
And then I managed to drop another glove into the bottom of the freezer and had to fish around for it while in imminent danger of actually falling in (who buys bloody chest -80oC freezers anyway? Have they no consideration for the short?) all the while trying not to breathe so that I could get an idea of where on the bottom of the freezer the damn thing might have fallen without the entire view being obstructed by clouds of white vapour.
And don't gloves freeze quickly? First I find out they burn, then I find out they freeze. Who'da thunk it.
