So both Dean and I have come down with the lurgy[1].
It's Dean's fault, he got it first and I've obviously gotten it off him. But both of us are huddled up near the heater, being lethargic and not doing anything.
Good thing there's a bye tonight, don't think I would have been able to play soccer.

Although as the guy at the paleomicrobiology talk on Thursday said, it'll be hard for archeologists to work out in 2000 years time what specific infection was meant by the "cold" and the "flu" and, for that matter, the "lurgy". We're now no longer certain what caused the black death, whether Yersinia pestis was actually it or not. If it wasn't... well, whatever it was wiped out about 30% of Europe's population, and could potentially do it again without too much trouble. Cool, hey. :-)
