I shouldn't make timetables, they never work.

And now I've managed to jinx the third year student by making a timetable... and everything's stopped. The glycerol stocks appear to have died, the HindIII is dead - basically nothing he's touched since I made the timetable on Monday has worked.

And it wasn't even a timetable for him!!!

(It was so I could work out plant stocks needed for his, mine and the PhD student's projects. So sort of about him, but not really for him.)

And while I'm whinging - does anyone know where I put the cloning schematics for the clones that were done 3 years ago? Cos buggered if I can remember how big this gene's meant to be.

But I was still a bit surprised to read about another missing backpacker. I mean I haven't heard anything about this guy being missing at all. Obviously they were fairly sure he hadn't gone to Melbourne then.

Normally missing/dead backpackers are fairly big news but I think they were trumped by the kidnapped baby in Melbourne this week.

And the footy last week, sad as that is to say...
