sprain update
Oct. 11th, 2005 02:58 pmSo I went to the physio again last night. I'm down to one crutch now, can walk on flat surfaces without it but still have trouble with stairs. The ankle's still swollen but going down.
The physio looked at the movement and said:
"Now that's how a sprain's supposed to heal! Now you see why I was so worried about the last one..."
Well yes. This one's much smaller and less hurting than the last one. It also hasn't involved interesting bruising yet. Although it does have "I'm healing" aching happening which is both good and bad.
I swear though, the next thing to go will probably be my left knee from the supporting myself up and down the stairs. It's a very tired knee.
Hopefully I'll be off the crutches by the end of the week and playing again in about 2-3 weeks. Touch wood.
