Sprain update: can walk unaided on flat surfaces, but still using crutch on stairs. Probably giving it back tomorrow though. And my ankle feels like someone is pushing something into it, which is a very annoying ache to have. Still, getting better, getting better.

Addiction update: Now completely addicted to The Mole. Pity the theme music's a Goldeneye rip off (Dean had to pull the movie out and put it on to prove it to me) and that I've had it stuck in my head for five weeks.

Fannish update: I've been watching Battle of the Planets/Gatchaman: both the Sandy Frank (US) and original Japanese episodes. I want a t-shirt with "Secret Science Ninja" on it. ;-) And another t-shirt with "7-Zark-7::Exposition Robot". Heh.

Dean obsession update: back to the BMXs. And the ninja video. Last weekend had a bit of a ninja theme all up. And where do the boys go when they're tired of playing?

Drinking game update: thanks to both Dean and myself being sick all last weekend, we've now seen 16 episodes of Taggart. So, obviously, we've been planning a drinking game night for it. So far there's only been two that I've remembered the ending from watching it on TV, so we're doing well.

More TV update: if it sounds like my life has been revolving around television lately, well duh. You try doing much else while sitting with one leg raised above hip level and encased in ice while coughing (me that is, not the leg). There's really not a lot on at the moment, or at least not much that I'm tuning into. Survivor. 24. Which, just incidentally, is starting to get really disturbing with its' emphasis on torture as the first resort. But there's an entire post which I'm going to write on that later, once the fourth season's finished here. Thinking of:

Documetary update: There's been a lot of good documentaries on recently. I'm enjoying (?) The Cutting Edge series on Iraq, the Auschwitz series on ABC, and the historical figures series. I've missed a few good ones too, which is a pain.

Reading update: travel porn. No, seriously, it is. I've been reading a guide to National Parks in the western US. It has very nice photos. I've also finished a memoir written by a special branch undercover agent in Northern Ireland. Interesting.

Sport update: well I'm not bloody playing anything...

Did you know Jesus had a puppy? No, neither did I. Make sure the sound is on, you don't want to miss that part of it either...

Balloon Jesus (being crucified). "Somewhere in this world, a clown graduated summa cum laude from Clown College." (flogged off [livejournal.com profile] kateorman)

I've got to stop collecting these sites. :-)
