more non-serious linky things
Jun. 8th, 2006 11:18 amAnd they lived happily ever after. Link taken from
kirstenfleur, who was suprised? amused? horrified? by the assertion that:
Women who choose not to take their husband's surname after marriage are not sexually attracted to them, and will likely be the one to initiate divorce.
O-kay. And your evidence for this would be...? Oh that's right, non-existent. She goes on to make some other, quite fascinatingly wierd and occasionally illogical arguments. If you don't laugh you'll want to track her down and slap some sense into her.
Particularly after reading:
"Everything a woman values most in life can be directly attributed to her husband's penis."
*snerk*
No, seriously, she said that!

I don't often follow the comics, but this review of The Early Adventures of Batman and Robin (aged 12) was sent to me by a friend and I found it hysterically funny. Particularly the additional comments about the quoted panels. I may even have to track down a copy and read it. I don't think I could bring myself to actually spend money on it though. Thank God for local libraries and geeky friends.

Something I may well consider spending money on though is new dating book written by MissAlli from TWOP. Not because I'm still single (although given both my stunning lack of change to Dean's surname and the fact that I've cut my hair I probably will be soon according to idiotwoman linked above) but because I like her writing. She blogs here, and writes articles for both Television Without Pity and This Is Not Over. There are probably more sites, but not actually being a stalker I don't know them. :-)
