Sep. 22nd, 2006 02:24 pmI'm sick. To the point that I've actually lost my voice, which is something I've not managed to do for a couple of years. It has made things interesting, particularly the realisation that I was supposed to phone my boss with results (I got someone else to do it eventually.)
Other than the voice loss and coughing fits I'm feeling mostly fine though - wouldn't mind more sleep though. Time to go home and watch more Battlestar.
I'm enjoying the current season, having borrowed the DVD off a friend. We're currently half way through the second season, or 3 episodes ahead of channel 10. I have to admit I've gotten into this season a lot, mostly because they have taken the idea of "The Other" and run with it in a few ways I wasn't necessarily expecting. It makes for interesting comparisons to, say, 24.
I also like playing "Spot the Cylon" which is highly entertaining. :-)
And trying to work out how you'd make cylons indistinguishable from humans, and yet have them retain their cylon-ness. This lead to me dreaming about ELISAs, with cylons and Xander. Nice to see that my dreams retain their wierd crossovers. The ELISA wasn't working - some things never change.
I also borrowed all of Veronica Mars, which may be tonight's marathon. :-)
