Mar. 14th, 2007 06:38 pmAm in Egypt. It still amazes me that you can get in a metal tube, watch movies for 24 hours, get out of the tube and be in a totally different place. OK, we did get out of the tube twice en route and I certainly didn't watch movies the entire time, but still. Totally different place.
Like an elevator, but weirder.
Anyway, we're in Egypt. In the "Manhattan of Cairo" no less. And very nice it is too. ;-)
It's bloody freezing after Melbourne though. I may have to buy some more warm clothes.
