I have to admit that this article confirmed many of my suspicions about Melbourne commercial FM radio, especially the part with Tony Martin. I listen to commercial FM radio in the car, switching between stations as songs/commercials come on that I hate or when the discussion gets irritating and/or boring. My car is old enough that it has 5 buttons pre-set to different stations, so unless I can be bothered swivelling the dial I tend to just jump between them by stabbing wildly at the buttons.
( Mostly why I stopped listening to Triple M actually )
