Bloody great stuff. I didn't get to watch it (not sure if it was even on over here), but from the web updates it looks as if it was a close and figer-nail biting game. Hopefully the last play-off Australia will be involved in.

I just know England are going to draw Australia (and probably Holland) in the group. Roll on 9th December.

Woohoo! I jumped in the air! I punched the air! I Woohoo'd at the top of my lungs!

And while I was doing that, my Aussie friend Mick was missing out in Japan, so I set up my webcam to point at my monitor, got the SBS webcast going, then Mick connected to me through Yahoo to watch the game and Skype to listen to it. Worked a treat!

Man, that was a very ingenious way of doing it! I'm not sure how my brother managed to find a live version of it, I must ask. Apparently he did though, cos there were texts flying back and forth all night.
