I was listening to BBC radio not half an hour ago when that fellow from the Kumars At 42 show made a RD joke about Smeg fridges. Some things are never meant to die.

In other matters I see from Googling my name that two young ladies (or one with two jobs) with my exact name are working in Melbourne, at the Uni of Melbourne, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Department of Microbiology and Immunology & the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. You aren't working at the Uni of Melbourne are you? Because if you worked with one of my namesakes that would be too freaky for words.

Nope, working at a different institute. Did Honours in the Dept Microbiology though. Quite some time ago now though... and it's probably the same person, possibly with two jobs or someone who's finishing a postgrad degree. These things hang around forever.

A pity in a way but I did think it unlikely that you would be working in the same building as her. I assume you're right about there just being one person, as you point out, updating phone lists and the like are not a priority.
