When I was in about year 7 there were a series of jokes going around known as the definition jokes. They went something like;

What's the definition of 'Islands in the Stream?' Dolly Parton in the bath.

After going to the doctor's on Friday the one that came flooding back to me was:

What's the definition of 'diarrhea'? Shit you can't nail to the wall.

The reason this came back to me was the request for me to collect a "10 cent piece sized" bit of faecal matter three days running for pathology. Which bit of 'diarrhea' do you not understand here?

Still, it's day 3 and there are now three sample containers sitting in the fridge grossing Dean out and waiting to be taken to the Path lab when the bloody thing opens on Monday. Just don't ask, OK? :-)
