More possum II
Feb. 17th, 2009 02:00 pmAfter Friday morning's turmoil someone did the sensible thing and called Peter the Possum Man. Who couldn't come out on a weekend (and there's an entire slideshow about that when I get the photos off my phone!), but did manage to make it yesterday and put out some traps.
And here's what we caught:

Aw, little possum, so cute!
They're planning on driving him out to the hills tonight and releasing it there. Just in case it remembers how to get in through the hole in the roof.

I thought you had to release them less than 500 m from where you caught them?

Date: 2009-02-18 08:52 am (UTC)Apparently they grow supersize in NZ (which is where the scarf comes from) but yes Dean's right. and of course, you can't shear them...though they do shear angora rabbits... hmm.. discrimination?
