On the seventh day of Christmas we looked through the square window to see:

"We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Good tidings we bring to you and your kin;
Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Santa wants a Christmas pudding;
Santa's got a Christmas pudding;
Om nom nom nom"

I'm pretty sure that's how that carol ends. This is one of the bakeries on the main strip, and yes Santa has a Christmas pudding (you can tell by the holly). He's also taken it back up to the North Pole again, unless he habitually brings snow with him to stand on. I suppose that's possible - it could have fallen off the sleigh and not melted yet - but it does seem unlikely. On the other hand at least he's slightly less pyromaniacal than my in-laws - that pudding appears to be completely not on fire. This is good. Believe me. Apparently it's not truly Christmas until someone loses their eyebrows...

As someone who has been known to singe her hair lighting puddings (when they go 'foomp!', you have to jump back *fast*), I second your pyromaniac in-laws. We should have a pyrotechnic pudding competition!
