Advent calendar
Dec. 10th, 2010 10:10 amThe tenth day of Christmas dawned sunny and damp after overnight storms as the advent calendar window opened to reveal:

"While shepherds watched
Their flocks by night
All seated on a rug
The angel of the Lord came down
With coffee in a mug.
"Fear not," said he,
For they had not
enough cash with which to pay
"The coffee's free and better yet
the beans are all Fair Trade."
*giggle* OK, that last line was the first one to jump into my mind when I saw the somewhat muscular angel bringing down cappuccino to the excited looking shepherds and the bemused looking and slightly cross-eyed sheep. I also like how the shepherd to the left's looking sideways at the other shepherd, a bit "you realise there's only one coffee so we're sharing right? Unless this angel can pull another one out of thin air..." Either that or "I'm senior, it's my cappuccino. You can have Nescafe, there's some in the bag..."
