hnpccWe played netball last night. We lost by 2, but we were one short so none of us were too fazed by that.
At the end of the game the co-ordinator came up and said "I've had a message from the office that you owe $85 forfeit fee".
"Huh? Last week was a washout, wasn't it?"
"No, it's from the 18/8".
Without telling us the competition had apparently decided to go from a four team series final to a five team series final. Had we checked the website for finals fixtures? Well no, of course not, we hadn't finished in the top four. Why would we?
I'm not sure what's shitting me off more about this: the fact that they didn't mention once that they'd changed the finals system, that they're expecting us to go look up information on the complete offchance that we may for some strange reason be in a final, or that we were in a freakin' final that we could have played in, we were even having tea in the same friggin' suburb godammit!!!
Argh.
Anyway, we're not paying the $85.
