hnpccAh godverdomme I'm still pissed off about the soccer.
That was just... fucked.
I am thinking about putting in a written complaint about the refereeing though, it was crap.
About the only good thing is maybe that bunch of arseholes will go up a division and we won't. Thank God, if I have to listen to that whingy harpy bitch of a goalie again I'm going to deck her.
Still, it's not often we get to end games with a bit of a punch up, for which I should be grateful.
That malaka dickhead though... I need to learn more greek. Preferably something like "didn't realise you liked boys..."
Oh I dunno.
The problem with mixed anything is the weight/height differences between men and women comes into play in a major way. I'm not saying the guys shouldn't tackle women, just that you can pick who's skilled cos they tend to manage to do it without using their weight to push people off the ball. We generally try to be a reasonable team - don't slam the ball at the more inexperienced female players, don't body slam the goalie, shit like that. Some of these other teams.. fuck guys, it's mixed division 5 Sunday night soccer. Accidents are going to happen anyway without some of the shit they try and pull.
Oh and I did like the ref's "Steve - can you stop sliding or I'm going to have to card you". Um, hello, it's the final for fuck's sake. If you're still fucking sliding you should be carded pretty much straight off. "Oh I slipped" - what, 5 times? Get new shoes, mate. I'm amazed the ref managed to notice anything other than the high balls. Which were at least at his vision range.
And yet I still want to punch out that fucking malaka dickhead and his harpy goalie. Preferably with a club lock.
