fatigue

I really shouldn't be this tired. All I've done is play one semi-game of soccer, one semi-game of netball and work two days. I'm absolutely stuffed.

Granted the work did involve me walking 9 times between buildings and up and down two flights of stairs at each, but I do that quite a lot so it shouldn't really affect me that much.

I'm going to blame the lack of coffee.

In other news, arguing with philosophers (like ones that do it for a living) is bloody frustrating. Particularly when you're arguing something fairly scientifically based. And language is an important consideration, no matter how you're redefining things. Meh.

It's the heat.

I think it was actually playing the two games in the heat which left me more than usually dehydrated and salt-deficient.

I seem to be fine this morning, after crashing on the couch last night.

Even if it was nothing like the temperature we saw in Canberra yesterday (and 37.6 was one heck of a shock for the last day of spring)the higher temperatures surely had an effect simply because you're use to playing in winter. Give it 2/3 weeks and you'll hardly notice.
