OK, the first sentence of the first post of the month for 2004:

Happy New Year! Part whatever. First day of uni again
and all the kiddies are back. Previously on SBB:VIII: Stuart landed safely, although quite late at night. Friday afternoon the postdoc bails me up in the corridor and tells me that we're having a meeting Tuesday morning with us and the plant postdoc so we know where the project's at and where it's heading.

Fri night we went to an 80s themed trivia night, which was being held to benefit the MS Society. Driving to work through the city thinking "why is there so much traffic?" OK, I want to kill my mother. She's cleaning my house.

Not sure what I'm finding funnier, the reason it was cancelled or how many seasons it got before it was cancelled! I never update. I have the feeling Bush will win. Skeevy. Is that a word? Does anyone else use it? Or is it just me?

Oh and note to self: Don't take Punt Road during the bloody Australian Open! Der! Best comment so far: "hey, good start. None of them have G-strings."
I'm waiting to see if anyone notices...

I suggested he go shopping. Please? A nice weekend. Hey I'm tall! And yeah, [livejournal.com profile] barrington it probably is who you think it is. Time to start travel planning again I think... I think he's subconsciously hoping the return of metal music will bring back his hair... And language is an important consideration, no matter how you're redefining things. Meh. There'll probably be a reflective post some time later. Maybe.

Heh. Equally as inane, but slightly more coherent.
