In other news, mostly of interest toepideme, soccer has been a bit meh of late.
We drew last night 2-2 with Polka Dots - we really should have won, but all of us were a bit off. I kept having balls kicked at my face, which resulted in the ref who looks like Damir Dokic keeping on giving penalties against me: sorry, but if it's a choice between "ball hits face" or "ball hits arms" I'll go the arms every time. They didn't get any goals out of it though.
The week before we lost to Yeah - now that we should have won. I think that's the only game Yeah have won all season!
Not sure what happened while I was away, I didn't ask. The last two weeks we've had 5 people both times though, with UKChris, AussieChris and Marcus alternating goalie. We got better at doing that this week though, I think that contributed to last week's loss.
My fitness has gone down again from being away, so I need to work on that as well. It's perfect indoor soccer playing weather though: bright and sunny but cool. No water hazards being trekked in, no humidity from sweat (ergh.)
And in other, other news, AussieChris did the 24 hour comic challenge on the weekend. A link to what he drew in 24 hours is available from here.
