(no subject)

So reading the Worldcon reports made me wonder what actually happened with the Melbourne one.

So I found the main worldcon page, and went to the Aussiecon3 page.

It's not there.

No real suprise I supose, given that it was in 1999, but it was still a bit of a giggle.

I also hadn't realised that there was an alternative con held in the US (for when WC isn't in the US) - which kind of makes it pointless to hold a WorldCon anywhere but the US really.

It's definitely approaching the equinox. For starters I'm driving to work in daylight. I really have to get some prescription sunglasses so I don't accidentally merge into someone while heading east on the South-Eastern.
