While looking up "escutcheon" in Dictionary.com (damn that ad!) I found this.

Is is just me or does anyone else think that maybe they should be teaching respect and nice treatment of everyone, not just one half of the population?

It's not that I'm against teaching good treatment, just that I think they should extend it to everyone.

Violence and abuse against anyone is wrong. Whatever gender they may be.

And, just incidentally, until I read dougs's likes/dislikes list some time this morning I'd never actually thought of "BDSM" and "Christianity" in the same sentence. ;-)

But she stole my timer!!!

OK, I can see how this would possibly not work as a defence for justifiable homicide.
