You know, the gators now moving in to New Orleans would get me out so damn quick. I am terrified of crocodiles and gators are similar enough (indistinguishable in fear actually - so are Komodo dragons come to that) that there's no way I could stay holed up there.

Ergh. Then of course the bacteria/water pollution etc probably wouldn't be encouraging me to stay much either.

But gators. *shudder*

Large reptiles that can eat you. *shudder*

One of the reasons why Jurassic Park was one of the worst horror movies for me to sit through. ;-)

I even know why I'm terrified of crocodiles. It's an explicable fear, and a rational one (IMHO naturally!)

Reminds me of Douglas Adams' bit about Komodo Dragons and the feeling that its somehow just not right to be looked at by an eye the size of a human's that doesn't belong to a mammal. I think that's why large squid freak people out too.
