So, for the second time I've been googling in a foreign language.

Foreign to me that is. Probably not foreign to native speakers.

And yeah, it was for song lyrics.

I'm actually surprised by how many I'd actually remembered, it was only the last bit that I'd gone blank on.

(In case you're wondering, jamaisneutral, I'm trying to remember the name of the group who had three 'hits' in late 1990/early 1991. They were "Yo!", "uh-oh!" and "hey hey hey!" Mostly I'm trying to find out if their fourth song title had four words... and this actually started as a search for Technotronic. Long story.)

Ik Wil je is indeed great,but I can't stand Walter Grootaers (Walter BigArse, the singer)... more so since he's gone into politics and presents ridiculous tv shows like "fear factor" and "star academy" now.

Can not remember. I can sing large tracts of the songs though... they were just very boppy frothy nothings.

Hm, maybe they were new beat.

For the love of me I can't remember the tune, but I remember hearing it, when I was in France. Who sings it?

No the guy's a complete tool (I remember thinking this after reading/hearing an intervew with him way back in 1990, I doubt he's gotten any less of an ego since then). And he wasn't good looking in any way shape or form then, so I was never sure where the ego was coming from (says my inner 18 year old who was lusting after Koen Wauters at the time).

I have it on tape somewhere at home. Jean-Jacques Goldman. I also looked up "Qui a le droit" by Jacques Brel while I was at it, I could never work out a couple of lines in that.

Should have looked up "BCBG" or "Le plastique est fantastique" while I was at it come to think of it.
