There was a nasty smell in the stairwell for the past two weeks, and despite many complaints the maintainance man (code name: useless) could find nothing.

Now there is no smell, but there are heaps of really fat blowflies everywhere.

And it's not even summer yet. Great.

Probably.

At least millipedes and slugs can't fly. The blowies are a real problem, as the airconditioning is making them fly slower, so you have to duck around them. It also makes them easier to kill. But that's only an option if you (a) have something to kill them with and (b) don't have your arms full.

I think it's Nature itself is out to get me. :_)
