There's an article in the paper claiming that production of the 'Red Dwarf' movie is being delayed by 'Tomb Raider 2'.

Oh so, that's it!

Give up guys. It's dead.

No, it's true. Chris Barrie and the main designer are working on Tomb Raider 2. Or so says that guy, you know, who wants to make more money ouyt of Red Dwarf. Check out http://www.reddwarf.co.uk - which is actually still updated. Frequently.

Whatever. My days of being a Red Dwarf fanboy have long passed their golden era.

But, well, it's bollocks, isn't it? I mean, it was "delayed" by the FIRST Tomb Raider movie. You'd think that if they were serious about this then they'd have USED the studio time they booked years ago, and, well, told the actors when they wanted them to be available and stuff. You know, at least tentative plans would be on the table. But they're not. I met DJJ a month or so back and asked about it briefly, he just sort of shrugged and rolled his eyes a bit.

I don't know why Grant Naylor Productions hasn't collapsed. What are they living off? How big must their debts be? A DVD and some trading cards are the only things that have happened in the recent past. They can't be getting that much in repeat fees and book sales, let alone tiny percentages of T shirt sales profits. How are these people earning enough to live on? Where on earth is the money coming from? They're a TV production company, aren't they? So why aren't they producing any TV? Colour me baffled.
