The Virginia Tech shooting on the news this morning brought back some memories of the Monash shooting for me at least. If it's bringing them back for me - when I seriously didn't have much to do with anything really - then I shudder to think how the people that were actually in the room are coping.

Apparently the Chinese news has a lot more information than the English language news (at least according to the postdoc next door).

As it turns out this morning, much of the Chinese news was wrong, so there you go.
