I know that you are changing timetables and adding new trains on Monday. I have known this for a while. It's Friday. Any chance you'll put the new timetables up on the site soon? Like today? Please?

I hate Connex. They keep going on about how the Epping and Hursty lines are going to be so much better and all they've done for me is turn one of my morning all-stations trains into a limited express.

Ah, I was looking at the Metlink page which definitely hadn't had the link added to it (as in, there was a link but no document) at midday today.

And it looks like I can just rock up and there'll be a train in within 10 minutes (in the morning at least. At night I'm a bit more planned.)

Actually looking closer, that's the old timetable. Unless Hurstbridge is going to run the same way around the loop in the morning as it is now... which could make things interesting with the Epping line at least!

There's hardly any difference for Hurstbridge on weekday mornings anyway - the 8.17 from Eltham is now a limited express and some of the services are a minute or two earlier, but I think that's all. Stupid Epping line, getting all our new trains :)

Yeah that one works. Bizarre, and now I am confused.

Anyway. Looks like a couple of things have shifted by a few minutes (damn you! Just when I'd gotten to know the times!) but other than that not huge changes.

*shrug* I'm waiting to see if this duplication of track makes any difference (or is just hours of entertainment for the next couple of months...)

Actually the big thing I'm waiting to see is if it's possible to actually get off at Flinders St. What with the huge numbers who normally get off at Parliament and all.

Do you seriously find the timetable relevant to the reality of trains arriving (or not) at your station? I tend to turn up and hope. :o)
