Back in the wars
Dec. 12th, 2002 07:04 pmI've been home sick all day.
It started yesterday, with the strange feeling that usually heralds the onset of cramps. I managed to mostly stave them off during the working day, but by 7pm they were so bad I actually paid the money to use CityLink and get home faster. I spent all of last evening crashed on the couch, with occasional mad dashes to the loo.
At 10pm I realised I could no longer stand up and fell into bed.
Some time this morning (I think 1amish) I began the cycle of cramps, sweating, dash to loo, back to bed. This has continued for most of the day. I looked so bad this morning that Dean actually took a flex day to look after me. I wasn't actually as bad as I looked (I think) but it was a nice gesture. And he cleaned the bumper marks off the car.
On the up side I have managed to finally see Spinal Tap (with frequent loo breaks) and almost finish my cross-stitch Christmas Angel decoration. I have never managed to finish a cross-stitch anything before in my life, so I'm pretty chuffed.
Now if my tummy would just decide that it's happy and leave me alone all would be well. And we so need softer toilet paper for these occasions.. *sigh*

Date: 2002-12-16 02:22 am (UTC)The whole damn mockumentary is worth it for the Stonehenge sequence. It encapulates everything which can possibly go wrong with an elaborate show. Actually every time I watched some bit of the Osbornes my mind kept going back to Stonehenge.
