Today's headline:
"Kewell sent off; game drawn. Socceroos retain outside chance of making round of 16."
I think that's pretty much the same as Essendon's mathematical chance of making the finals the last couple of years, and about as likely.
And clicking through to the article gets:
AUSTRALIA still has a mathematical chance of progressing to the last 16 of the World Cup after it fought out a thrilling 1-1 draw with Ghana...
OK, we're screwed.
