Advent calendar

hnpccOn the ninth day of Christmas my calendar told me that I'd managed to inadvertently double book myself for Christmas festivities two days running. Impressive, I normally only manage one double booking, not two! So I opened the advent calendar window to see:
"O come, all ye faithful,
Following in Jared's footsteps,
O come ye, O come ye to Subway Temple.
Come and see Santa, balancing his diet:
With low fat sandwich options,
With low carb sandwich options,
With low salt sandwich options
Vegies galore.
Fresh salad sandwich,
No mayo option;
Falling down a little bit on portion control,
Could end up being a bit messy.
O come, watch Santa eating,
O come, see Santa drinking,
O come, spot Santa loosening
the size of his belt!"
Yeah I kind of figured I couldn't really get away from the actual product here. And I have just had far too much fun working out the lyrics to this one. Probably a good thing the people who are supposed to be sharing my office haven't moved in yet, what with my somewhat dodgy singing!
Nice to see Santa's still on his magic cloud. I'm beginning to wonder about a crossover with Monkey at this point... Also the "balanced diet" appears a bit more literal than usual, given the size of that sandwich and the wobble lines around it.
