Advent calendar

On the twelfth day of Christmas somewhere between 20 and 10 adults and 3 to 7 children were due to arrive at my house for a family get together, and in a small break that my Mum and I were taking from each other after cleaning the house and making food I opened the advent calendar window to see:



OK, first off? *groan* No, really, *groan*.

"Have yourself a meowy little Christmas, cat hair everywhere,
Presents left on front steps wrapped in own fur,
Have yourself a meowy little Christmas, midnight concerts too,
Carols on the back fence just for you.

Cat litter spreading across the floor, sit still because we like to paw,
Dismembered lizards at the door, at least you've learned our word is law...

But at least we all will be together, if the Fates allow,
From now on we'll have to muddle through somehow.
So have yourself a meowy little Christmas now."

Yes, it's the pets and accessories shop. With bonus guitar magazine in the first photo. You'd think of all the shops where you'd do a manger scene this one would be it. I mean birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, budgies - what more does a manger scene need? "Meowy Christmas". *groan*

And that is one disturbingly well-fed looking cat they've got going there...
