Advent calendar
Dec. 17th, 2010 02:11 pmOn the seventeenth day of Christmas I realised that I had managed to get five of about 30 presents so far. Hm. Ignoring that, I opened the little window to reveal:

The First Raffle, the Pundits did say
Was to certain tired shoppers worn out by the day
To lure them back
and spend even more
they created a raffle in which they could be drawn.
Raffle, Raffle, Raffle, Raffle
Born is the concept of marketing!
The wise men looked up and saw a star
Guiding the way to Andre's raffle
Over low-cost fruit,
a blinding light
And so it continued both day and night.
Andre's raffle, Andre's raffle!
Lightening the hearts of weary shoppers!
This would be one side of the local supermarket. I love how the wise man is all "look! A raffle! Oh and some star!" while the camel appears to be in complete agreement. "I mean, yeah! A raffle! This is Christmas marketing at its best!" Also? Quite like the sand that the camel's bringing with him. To be fair to the painter, it's the supermarket that really screwed up his nice window painting... sort of. To be continued...
