On the twenty-second day of Christmas my true love said to me "I think we've almost finished the shopping". And there was much rejoicing as we opened the little window to reveal:



"Dashing through the snow
works well up north they say,
Southern hemisphere,
it's dirt bikes all the way
Fanging down the hills,
Up rocky slopes again
What fun it is with slips and spills
Into new mud left by rain!

Oh, BMX, mountain bike,
Pedal all the way

Down mountains all the day,
BMX, mountain bike,
Hang on all the way
Oh, what fun it is to slide
On muddy tracks today!"

Well now we know how Santa keeps the weight from all the eating off! Although I'm still a little worried about the, um, suspicious looking cloud hovering behind him. It could of course be the magic snow/cloud - or it could be Santa self-propelling. The jury's out on that one. I also notice that Santa isn't wearing a helmet, making this activity technically illegal in Victoria too. Unless of course his Santa hat has been safety-rated, which is a possibility.

This is the local bike shop, whose Christmas message of "rain, hail or shine" appears to be being taken seriously by the current weather systems. "OK, mate, if that's what you're after - we've definitely got it in stock. All in one day, or would you prefer it spread out?" I'm not sure if I can definitely blame them for placing the order, but I'm certainly tempted to.

If I walked past that window I'd probably start exclaiming, "Look, Jack! Santa's doing farts!" That's what starting toilet training does to ya...
