Advent calendar
Dec. 24th, 2010 12:14 pmOne more sleep to go!! Second last window on the Advent Calendar! Which opened to show:

"You better watch out
It's nearly that time
Suspend all your doubt
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
He's parking the sleigh
Near your chimney stack
Humping the gifts
From out of the back
Santa Claus is coming to town
He's climbing down your chimney
In high vis safety gear
Bolle safety workglasses
Helmet perched above his ears!
O! You better watch out!
Santa should just get by
he's gotten less stout
Even with all the pie
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town"
I have to say Santa looks disturbingly like a cross between a workman and a burglar in this one. This is a workwear shop, as you can probably tell from the fluoro gear in the background, and at least Santa has dressed semi-appropriately for going down people's chimneys. Worksafe would still be unhappy about the lack of safety harness or scaffolding though, and would probably question the necessity of wearing safety sunglasses at night. I bet there's animal handling regulations and requirements for meal breaks in there as well.
Still, at least the sunglasses would come in handy during the flying part of the trip!
