Happy New Year!

I was walking around the suburb last week and happened past the far side of the library - when I go to the library it's usually from the train station, rather than from this street, which is off the main shopping strip. So I was surprised to discover this:



"Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind ?

for the sake of auld lang syne."

The angel certainly looks thrilled to be getting into a Christmas classic again - and I love the illustration of Scrooge on the cover. I also like how the angel is apparently reading by starlight and hovering while reading. I guess whatever relaxes you, right?

Taken yesterday, so you'll just have to imagine the searing heat... I didn't even notice the stars until I started writing!
