hnpccCurrent race standings (again for my own amusement mostly):
Tyler and Nathan: 2.625
Jeff and Luke: 3.75
Matt and Tom: 3.875
Dave and Kelly: 5.125
Sam and Renae: 5.25
OK, at this point you'd have to say that barring some really crappy luck it'll be an all male final for the first time in the history of the race (unless China Rush, the Brazilian or the Israeli versions had it, but I didn't watch those ones so I don't know.)
Also, if I ever go on this race I want as many tasks geared to me as the Farmers seem to be getting. Maneuver a semi with load? They've got road train licenses. Shoot things? Do it all the time. Herd some sheep? No probs. Drive four wheel off-road bikes? Part of the job. If the next couple of legs have rope cattle and/or brand them I'm going to be very suss.
(For me it'd be more like design oligonucleotides or maybe pipette solutions granted, but still. Even combine ingredients to make a small explosive device would be semi-appropriate. Where are the strut on catwalk tasks geared to the surfers and models? We did have one accountancy task, granted. There just seems to be a lot of very mechanically minded tasks going this season.)
