Russell Brand's perspective on the London riots.

I'm getting more and more respect for the guy. Not least because it's not often you have someone admit they were a dickhead in their youth.

What I appreciated most in his Guardian article was the way he (god I can't even find the right word for it) acknowledged his position of being beyond the social class affected by the riots, even if he was in London. He has written very humbly and intelligently. I can't find any words today.
