OK, so what do you say when someone says:

"I feel like an animal's died in my mouth" to you?

Suggestions on a postcard please, cos I was totally stumped...

I don't think I've ever made contact with that particular sentence before. Was it in reference to having a bad taste in their mouth, or did they just sort of blurt it our at random?

Either way, that's a really odd thing to say. I'd probably say something like, "Do you need a toothbrush?" or "Don't breathe on me, then"...really, I don't know.
